I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the apartment at Appartements Ferchergasse. The beautiful and comfortable furnishings made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were very accessible for seniors like me, with easy navigation and no stairs to worry about. It was a relief to have everything conveniently located on one level.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for seniors, it would be to have a few more handrails throughout the hotel. This would provide extra support and stability, especially for those of us who may need a little assistance with mobility.

The apartment was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, such as a coffee machine and toaster. The location was great, with supermarkets and bars within walking distance. public transportation was easily accessible, with train, tram, bus, and taxi stops just 2 minutes away. It was incredibly convenient to explore the city.

The room did get uncomfortably stuffy and warm at times, as we had to keep the window closed to avoid noise from nearby construction works. Another downside was the separate mattresses on the double bed, as they would constantly shift apart and create an uncomfortable gap in the middle.

I was blown away by the beauty of the Danube, and I had the chance to go on amazing boat excursions. The apartment was a unique blend of classical style and modern design. I was moved by the stories behind the historical buildings in Vienna.

Oh, and of course, I just loved how far away the city center was from the apartment. It was so convenient spending extra time on public transport.
